우주 (Woojoo) means space in Korean — the cosmos, the galaxy, everything out there. 분식 (Bunsik) is the catch-all term for Korean street food: the chewy, spicy, deeply nostalgic snacks you grew up on or wish you had.

We chose the name because the food we serve — tteokbokki that's creamy and stubborn, chicken bokki you eat with your hands, cheese corn that ruins all other corn forever — is the same comfort food sold from carts in Seoul. Familiar to some. Brand new to others. Out of this world either way.

Started in Toronto in 2024. One shop on Bloor West. No franchise plans. No celebrity chef. Just bunsik, made with care, in the city that became home.
